I
paint and draw portrait commissions of children and adults
in graphite, conté, pastel, pencil and pencil line drawing. I will need a very
clear good medium contrast 8 x 10 inch photo or a raw or
high resolution tif file taken without a flash. Several
photos and a brief description of the person help me to
better express their personality. I only work from quality
photos or digital image files and reserve the right to
approve the images.
Please be advised that you are buying an artist’s rendering of what they see, not a photo. If you want an exact duplicate of the picture and not my interpretation I suggest you see a professional photographer instead.
Time to completion of the
work will vary depending on my work load. I can give you an
estimate.
If you wish to proceed
with the commission I require 33% down payment before I
start the work. (I will bill you using PayPal, that way you
can pay via your PayPal account or major credit card.) I
will email you two progress drawings for your information if
you so desire.
After the work is finished
I will email a thumbnail of the art for your approval. If
you are happy with the work, the balance of the fee is due
before I ship. I will do two revisions without an increase
of fee. I retain all copyright on the finished artwork.
